Hello again everyone!
This is going to be my first time blogging with an iPhone. Exciting much? Lol I guess it's nearly the same.
Anyway, on Friday I went to this quaint place along Muntri Street in Penang called Kafe Mews @ Muntri Mews. Muntri Mews is actually a boutique hotel. I heard it has only 9 rooms but they're all spacious.

Kafe Mews is located in front of the hotel. It's just right at the entrance but you may drive pass it if you do not look out for it.
It serves Fusion food and the choices are very limited. They have our local Penang food like the Asam Laksa and Western food such as Fish and Chips, Chicken Pies etc.
They even have "Today's Special" menus and the meal for the day was the Slow Braised Australian Short Ribs in Redwine Jus with Creamy Mash Sweet Shallots and Sugar Snap Peas. Long name huh? In short, it's a ribs meal.
So we ordered that and also some other stuff. Let the pictures do the talking alright? ;)
Peach tea; it's a little too diluted.
Guava and Apricot with Tea; this was a little interesting. It has a pinch of guava and apricot taste & inside the drink, there's nata de coco. It actually taste quite nice.
Honey Lemon Tea; a bit sweet.
Beer Batter Fish and Chips; I don't really know how it taste like because my dad ate it all. But it smelt good ;)
Nasi Goreng with Chicken Satay; one of the must try(s).
Gado-gado; it's delicious but too little sauce. But fret not, you can ask them for additional sauce.
Chicken pie with mushroom sauce; it's delish!
Chicken Cordon Bleu with garlic sauce; the portion is huge! It's good though!
Slow Braised Australian Short Ribs in Redwine Jus with Creamy Mash Sweet Shallots and Sugar Snap Peas; the ribs was soft and tender and everything else just compliments it. Must try!
Tong Sui; not too bad :)
Penyet Pisang; it's actually quite good for me.
Overall, the ambiance and the food is good! It's a good place to chill and hang out :) Will definitely go there soon again.
